Step 4 – CONFIRMATION OF RECEIVED DOCUMENTS
After sending your documents listed on step 3 above, please give us up to 30 – 45 minutes to confirm your payment and the received documents. Please note that in some cases, especially when network is bad, your payment may take a longer time to be confirmed. Be rest assured we will get back to you (via email, call or text) as soon as we are able to confirm it.
Step 5 – PAYMENT REMITTANCE TO SEVIS
After receiving your documents and have confirmed your payment into our account, we will process your SEVIS payment. The waiting time here is either 2-3 working days (for urgent payments) or 7-8 working days (for non – urgent payments). You should receive a payment notification email from SEVIS within the above stipulated periods after we have confirmed receipt of your documents and money according to Step 4 above. If you do not receive an email it means your email address on SEVIS record is invalid. In this case you are free to contact us for more information. Please note that we do not tolerate calls, text messages, whatsapp messages e.t.c. in form of follow up until after the designated waiting time. You do not need to do a follow up on us for your payment to be made.
Step 6 – PRINTING YOUR SEVIS RECEIPT
Immediately you receive the payment notification email from SEVIS or after we have confirmed that your SEVIS payment has been made, go ahead and print off the payment receipt. You can do that by visiting SEVIS official page at https://www.fmjfee.com/ and enter your SEVIS ID Number, SURNAME/LAST NAME and DATE OF BIRTH. Download the payment confirmation receipt and print off.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO CONTACT MEC FOR SEVIS PAYMENT?
The best time is between 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. We do not make SEVIS payment on weekends and even Nigeria & USA public holidays. All payments received after 4pm (Nigeria time) on a working day is assumed to have been made the following working day and treated accordingly. Although if your payment is pretty urgent, you can contact us to give it a trial, although this may attract extra charges.

AFTER SEVIS PAYMENT, WHAT NEXT?
No student visa = No study abroad. It is on this note that we have over time taken students through rigorous visa counseling to ensure that the amount of time and effort spent in identifying the right course and location is not a waste.
