2. How Do I Register For The Lessons?
Visit our Festac centre to do your registration irrespective of where you want to receive the training.
Registration can also be done on phone/whatsapp instead of coming physically to the centre. However, all registrations must be backed with tuition payment in order to confirm your seat.
3. Can I Register For The IELTS Exam Through MEC?
Yes you can. We can register you for any of your preferred IELTS exam with no extra fee.
Feel free to discuss it with us anytime you are ready. Although we advice students to register even before the commencement of classes so as to get appropriate exam date that will enable them take the exam immediately they are done with classes.
4.How Much Is The IELTS Exam Registration Fee?
We charge ₦75,000 only for all other IELTS exams, except the UKVI options.
After registering with us, depending on the IELTS package you are subscribing to, we also offer you the following services free of charge amongst others.

5. Can MEC Handle Private IELTS Lessons?
Yes we can.
In that case you need to let us know your location, number of students, number of lesson contacts per week, lesson duration per contact and of course the entire training duration. This is usually held at the comfort of your home or any agreed location that is best for both the student and our assigned Tutor.
6. What about Online classes?
With MEC, you can also choose to have your classes online. This is good for students outside Lagos or those who are extremely busy with their job and could hardly spare out time for one-on-one lecture. We do this preferably via zoom, skype, whatsapp and google hangouts.
7. What do I need to take classes at MEC?
In addition to your notes and other prescribed training materials which are inevitable, we also need your full concentration in class. You need a prepared and willing heart to learn.
8. What is the class size?
The class size will depend greatly on your IELTS package. Refer above to see our various packages. Meanwhile we are always conscious of moderate student number per time in order to keep the class more interactive, fun and engaging.
9. How do I confirm a MEC Tutor?
Each MEC Tutor has been thoroughly screened for subject proficiency and other qualities before engagement for classes. We have verified the profiles of each Tutor without prejudice, and can be sure you are safe using them at any given time.
10. What is the Training Fee?
The training fee depends on the package you are considering. The least amount been ₦15,000 and the most ₦50,000 for a period of 4 weeks.

However, feel free to let us know if you wish to be tutored online or privately as the fees are not the same. In any case we will design a suitable lesson plan that will help you achieve your goal.
11. Does The Training Fee Come With Study Materials?
Yes it does. All students will be given free up-to-date study materials with CDs to help them participate fully in class. Training kit will be provided to students at the training centre before taking their first lecture. However, we do not restrict students from buying extra study materials that will be of benefit to them when preparing for the IELTS exam.
12. How is the Training Fee Payment made?
Payments can be done by installment but students are expected to pay up any outstanding balance within the first week of training otherwise they will not be allowed to continue their classes and will invariably lost the earlier deposit made. Note that all payments should be lodged directly into the assigned company’s account.
We cannot verify payment made to any third party. You can call, text or whatsapp 08060581501 to get clarification regarding payments and account information before making payment.
13. After paying the Training Fee, can I get any Refund?
If you change your mind, you’d get full refund of any deposit made provided you cancel your registration before the training commencement date.
14. How does MEC screen students at the Training venue?
After enrolling for classes, we will issue all registered students with proper Identification in form of student ID card prior to the training commencement date. As a registered student, you need to come along with this ID so we can confirm your identity before joining any of our classes. No ID, no entry.
15. What happens if I’m not satisfied with a MEC Tutor?
This situation is almost unlikely to occur as all our Tutors are well trained people and can always deliver beyond student’s expectations. Although in the event that you are not satisfied with a particular MEC Tutor, we will not hesitate to replace the tutor immediately.
16. Will I be compensated if I refer a friend or relation?
Yes you will.

The above commission rate is calculated with respect to the training fee. No commission is paid for exam registration. Just contact us before the commencement of the class to notify us of the students you are referring. You can also inform them to let us know about you during enrollment, just to avoid confusion. We will not pay commission if the student have taken at least one class with us before hearing from you.
