How To Join The Classes?
Kindly follow the seven (7) simple steps below;
STEP 1: DECIDE ON A TRAINING LOCATION
All intending students/participants are to first decide on the best location that suit their interest.
STEP 2: CONFIRMING THE TRAINING FEE
See below our training fees for each class category.
For weekday classes – ₦25,000 (4 weeks; 2 classes per week)
For weekend classes – ₦30,000 (4 Saturdays only – 6 hours per Saturday)
For online classes – ₦20,000 (4 weeks/4 Saturdays/4 Sundays)
For private/home classes – Not Fixed. Training fee depends on your location, number of students, number of classes per week, lesson hours per class and of course the entire training duration. STEP 3: CONTACT US TO GET TRAINING FORM
After confirming the training fee as detailed above, it is mandatory for all intending students/participants to fill up a training form with their correct information. Please call 08177619660, 07032835643 or whatsapp 08060581501 to request for the form.
STEP 4: SENDING COMPLETED TRAINING FORMS TO US
After filling the training form, you are to send completed forms (with a passport photograph) back to us for documentation purpose and to enable us produce your ID card prior to the training commencement date. At this point you will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of One Thousand Naira (₦1,000) for ID card Issuance.
All intending students are to pay their respective training fees in order to make seat reservation and ensure orderliness at respective training venues. Payments can be done at once or by installments (not more than 2 installments). We do not receive payment at the training locations; all payments for any training period should be made latest 2 weeks before training commencement date. Use our account information in STEP 5 above to make your payment and bring the evidence of payment to our FESTAC office, so we can issue an official payment receipt. You can as well make payment and send us payment evidence via email.
After confirming your payment we will send you a soft copy of your receipt as a reply to your email.
STEP 6: NOTIFICATION ON TRAINING VENUES & CLASS SCHEDULES
A week to the training commencement date for any given location, all registered students at that location will receive a notification confirming the exact training venue and time table for classes. This is usually communicated to only registered students, and it is done principally via whatsapp, email or text message.
STEP 7: MEET US AT YOUR RESPECTIVE TRAINING LOCATIONS
Our team of experienced IELTS Tutors will be available at your respective training locations to discharge their duties as expected. See you there.
Remember our target is a minimum of 7.5 on each section of the IELTS exam.

1. Where will the Lessons Hold?
Lessons venue for each location will be communicated to all registered students a WEEK to the training commencement date.
2. How Do I Register For The Lessons?
Request and fill up the training form by paying a non-refundable fee of One Thousand Naira (₦1,000) for ID card issuance. Please ask us for the account details whenever you are ready to enroll.
3. Can I Register For The IELTS Exam Through MEC?
Yes you can. We can register you for any of your preferred IELTS exam. Feel free to discuss it with us anytime you are ready. Although we advice students to register even before the commencement of classes in order to get an appropriate exam date that will enable them take the exam immediately they are done with classes at MEC.
4. Can I Come To MEC Office For The IELTS Registration?
Yes you can. You can actually complete all registration proceedings physically at our Festac office in Lagos. There you can as well make further enquiries regarding other MEC services without paying any consultation fee.

5. Can MEC Handle Private IELTS Lessons?
Yes we can. In that case you need to let us know your location, number of students, number of lesson contacts per week, lesson duration per contact and of course the entire training duration. This is usually held at the comfort of your home or any agreed location that is best for both the student and assigned MEC Tutor.
6. What about Online classes?
With MEC, you can choose to have your classes online. This is good for students outside Lagos or those who are extremely busy with their job and could hardly spare out time for one-on-one lecture. We do this preferably via skype and google hangouts.
7. What do I need to take classes at MEC?
In addition to your writing material which is inevitable, we also need your full concentration in class. You need a prepared and willing heart to learn.
8. What is the class size?
An ideal group class can only take a maximum of 15 students to keep it more interactive, fun and engaging.
9. How do I confirm a MEC Tutor?
Each MEC Tutor has been thoroughly screened for subject proficiency and other qualities before engagement for classes. We have verified the profiles of each Tutor without prejudice, and can be sure you are safe using them at any given time.

11. Does The Training Fee Come With Study Materials?
Yes it does. All students will be given free up-to-date study materials (soft copy) with audios from CDs to help them participate fully in class. Training kit will be provided to students at the training centre before taking their first lecture. However, we do not restrict students from buying extra study materials that will be of benefit to them when preparing for the IELTS exam.
12. How is the Training Fee Payment made?
Payments can be done by installment but students are expected to pay up any outstanding balance within the first week of training otherwise they will not be allowed to continue their classes and will invariably lost the earlier deposit made. Note that all payments should be lodged directly into the assigned company’s account. We cannot verify payment made to any third party. 13. After paying the Training Fee, can I get any Refund?
If you change your mind, you’d get full refund of any deposit made provided you cancel your registration not later than 2 weeks before the training commencement date.
14. How does MEC screen students at the Training venue?
After obtaining the Training registration form of ₦1,000, MEC will issue all registered students proper Identification in form of student ID card prior to the training commencement date. As a registered student, you need to come along with this ID so we can confirm your identity before joining any of our classes. No ID, no entry.
15. What happens if I’m not satisfied with a MEC Tutor?
This situation is almost unlikely to occur as all our Tutors are well trained people and can always deliver beyond student’s expectations. Although in the event that you are not satisfied with a particular MEC Tutor, we will not hesitate to replace the tutor immediately or make a refund of your balance.
